I was inspired to write this song upon reading my niece's so appropriate response after her mom, my sister, passed away.
Life is not always sterile and pristine.
In fact it can get down-right dirty.
Such was the end of my sister's life, but we loved her despite her poor choices that led to her demise.
Jesus can still perform His miracles whereby He can restore personal relationships no matter how bad we mess them up.
Though there may be an ocean of pain that separates two people, Jesus can still heal that relationship, and leave us with the peace that He has promised to those who will trust Him with their lives.
