The beginnings of this song started as a poem, written by my aunt as the Lord dictated it to her.
Some time ago, she was going through a tough time.
Also at the same time, she had been reading through of the account where Jesus walked on the water to meet with the disciples in a storm that blew in on the lake that they were trying to row across.
Upon receiving an invitation from Jesus, for Peter to step out of the boat on to the lake, he did step out; initially successful.
It was only when Peter took his eyes off Jesus, on to the blustery conditions of the lake storm, that he began to sink.
As she read her poem to me, I felt a musical stirring in my heart.
Along with my aunt, I invite you to walk on the waters of life with Jesus, and keep your eyes on Him. :)
