    I was going through a particularly rough patch in life when I wrote this song. The next day, I was reading through the passage in John 5:4 that recorded the incident where the lame man was trying to get healed by the only means known to them at that time.
    An angel of God would stir the waters of a certain pool. The first one in got healed, but this guy was so lame that others always beat him into the pool. Then Jesus came . . .
